Unlock Your Sales Superpower with Entertainment Styles On Camera

Hey Video Bosses,

A few years ago, I hired a video coach. I was tired of watching my own videos back and cringing at how stiff, awkward, or monotone I sounded. I didn’t know how to move my hands. My face felt frozen. My energy just didn’t match the passion I had for my work.

That video coach changed everything.

They didn’t just teach me how to look good on camera. They taught me how to communicate through presence, movement, voice, pacing—and most of all, Entertainment Style.

Learning how to dial in my on-camera style was one of the most rewarding and impactful things I’ve ever done. Because once I understood the difference between styles—and how they already lived in me—my videos finally felt like me.

🎭 What Are Entertainment Styles?

These are not about faking it or putting on a show.

Entertainment Styles are about unlocking the version of you that already exists—and amplifying it to match the camera.

Here’s the truth: you are not just one style.

You are all of these styles.

Go back and watch your most relaxed, unscripted videos—the ones where you were just being fully yourself. You’ll see them:

- When you get excited and your eyes light up—Excite.

- When you slow down and speak from your heart—Steady.

- When you crack a clever joke and smirk—Charm.

- When you lay out a plan like a boss—Lead.

The key isn’t picking one. It’s recognizing the ones that naturally show up, and learning how to use them intentionally when you film.

🧠 Model the Masters

One of the best ways to improve your on-camera presence is to find entertainers who share your natural styles—and start modeling their mannerisms.

- Watch how they use their hands

- How they smile or pause

- The way they shift tone or posture

You don’t need to copy them—you just need to let their presence inspire your own.

Start building your "style board" of performers, speakers, or even fictional characters that reflect how you show up at your best.

🎥 Review, Reflect, Repeat

Once you understand your entertainment styles, you’ll have a brand-new lens to use when reviewing your videos.

Ask yourself:

- Am I showing up as myself?

- Do I see my natural styles present?

- Are my hands, voice, and face in alignment with the message I’m sharing?

If not—no shame. Just hit re-record.

The camera doesn’t need perfection. It just needs the real, aligned, turned-up version of you.
